Rangers Coach Reacts After Defeating Kastina Utd In Awka

Enugu Rangers coach Abdul Maikaba has reacted to the 1:0 win by his team against Kastina United in the week twenty one game played at the Anambra Township Stadium on Wednesday 6th April 2022

In an interview with newsmen after the game, Maikava said it was a deserving victory despite the challenges confronting the seven time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions.

According to the former plateau United handler “We have too many injured players. It is the same set of players we used in Makurdi, about 98 percent of them played today. If we had options, we would have replaced some of them. Our medical team have cleared the injured players. They will be available in two weeks.

Enugu Rangers play maker Chukwuemeka Okorie scored the only goal at the 57th minutes of the game in an entertaining game which had both teams missing numerous scoring opportunities.
