.. Promises to improve former and current legislative achievements of Dunukofia Representatives
Ahead of 2023 general elections, the Special Assistant to Governor on Youth Entrepreneurship, Hon CY Ibeabuchi, has formally declared interest to contest under the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA to represent Dunukofia Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
Hon CY Ibeabuchi , who made the official declaration during a consultative meeting with APGA executives in Umudioka Ward 1, led by the Chairman, Hon Emeka Okonkwo, said that he has the experience, leadership qualities and knowledge to provide quality representation to the people at the State Assembly.
He said he had always been deeply involved in activities aimed at promoting peace, good governance and development in the state, stressing that his desire to serve at the State Legislature was to further better the lot of the people for the greater benefit of the society.
The Special Assistant to the Governor explained that the interactive meeting was to interface with the ward executives of the party and officially inform them of his intention to represent the people of Dunukofia Local Government Area in the State Assembly.
He said: “I will strive for good governance and drive development to Dunukofia. Besides the primary responsibility of lawmaking, all that the oversight function of a lawmaker entails, will be vigorously pursued”
The Chairman, APGA , Umudioka Ward 1 , Hon Emeka Okonkwo, commended Hon CY Ibeabuchi for coming to interface with the ward executives and expressed happiness over the caliber of personalities in the ward that are showing their support for his ambition.
The youth leader of APGA Umudioka Ward 1 and the women leader commended Hon CY Ibeabuchi for his aspirations and highly honoured by the visit of a great personality, like him to interface with the party on his aspiration.
In conclusion, the President General of Umudioka Town Union and Honourable councilor representing Umudioka Ward 1, gave his blessings to Hon CY Ibeabuchi and all the 21 executives members present, prayed and annoited him for the tasks ahead.
