NIGERIAN SINGER, TEMS VOWS NOT TO EAT IN POLICE CUSTODY IN UGANDA.

Tems insisted that she won’t eat anything until she is released from police custody.

Tems was arrested in Uganda alongside colleague, Omah Lay on Sunday, December 13 2020 for holding an illegal concert and going against Covid 19 protocols because the country has been on lockdown because of the pandemic.

The singers performed at an event in Ddungu Resort in Kampala city, Uganda.

The Nigerian artists were charged to court for taking actions that are likely to extend the spread of Covid 19.

While in custody, Tems has refused to eat anything for reasons unknown.

She said:

“I don’t want to eat unless you strap me to a chair and force food down my throat.”

She was also heard telling a lady in a viral video that she has not eaten anything in the past 24 hours and won’t be eating in the 48 hours.

“I haven’t eaten in the past 24 hours, and I’m not eating for the next 48.”

The Ugandan police stated that the organisers got the show approved after they said it would be a lunch and dinner event.
