Anambra State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor on Sunday 3rd April 2022 mark his 45th Birthday Celebration.
Rt. Hon. Okafor also doled out empowerment items including, Ten (10) Toyota Camry Salon Cars and One (1) Subaru SUV; Fifty-Five (55) Motorcycles; Numerous Sewing and Grinding Machines; as well as Farming Implements including, Six Hundred (600) Bags of Fertilizers and Knapsacks to some Constituents in appreciating their unflinching support over the years.
The birthday celebration and Constituency Empowerment Program held at Ifite-Ogwari in Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State, had in attendance the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, SSG, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu. Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe MHR, State Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Norbert Obi, Members of the State House of Assembly, Former and present Commissioners and as well as Key Stakeholders, Constituents from the eleven (11) wards in Ayamelum, and well-wishers.
In his remark Rt. Hon. Okafor thanked the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) faithfuls for standing firm and believing in the party.
According to the speaker “I always celebrate my birthday with my Constituents and it comes with empowerment. This is not the first time. This empowerment is in fulfillment of my campaign promises. I will always be accountable to my people. Continue to pray for us your leaders for wisdom and strength”. He urged ndi Ayamelum.
Okafor assured Governor Soludo of the support of the Anambra 7th Assembly stating that the Executive and the legislators will work together towards taking the state to greater heights.
Governor Soludo in his remark while congratulating the speaker on his 45th birthday described him as a great asset to Anambra state.
The number one citizen of Anambra assured ndi Ayamelum that he will fulfill his campaign promises soon.
Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor support group issued a check of Twenty five million naira to the Speaker to purchase the house of assembly form for his third tenure.
Speaking on behalf of the support group, Mr. Caleb Okechukwu said the money was contribution from individuals including the women selling pepper and crayfish in appreciation of the good works and quality representation from Rt. Hon. Okafor
